The JuicyFields Case: Timeline, Investigation and Legal Actions

The JuicyFields case concerns a cannabis “e-growing” investment scheme that collapsed in July 2022, leaving tens of thousands of investors across Europe with losses estimated in the hundreds of millions of euros. Investors were promised high returns for funding the cultivation of medicinal cannabis; when the platform abruptly shut down, the promised payouts and much of the invested capital disappeared. This archive documents the fraud and the cross-border legal action led by Swedish attorney Lars Olofsson (Eight Legged Forensics).

How the JuicyFields fraud was exposed

The people behind JuicyFields were not unmasked by accident. Swedish attorney Lars Olofsson and his team at Eight Legged Forensics (ELF) investigated the scheme, followed the money, and identified the network of individuals and facilitators operating behind it.

ELF then handed that evidence to law-enforcement authorities and to investigative journalists across Europe. That cooperation fed the criminal investigations, arrests and extraditions that authorities have since carried out, and the international reporting that brought the case to the public.

Everything on this site was first documented and published here as that work unfolded — which is why it is preserved as a primary record of the case.
